South Wales Chamber & RLP Employer Survey
Wednesday 31st August 2011
Employers across the region are being encouraged to contribute to a unique online survey which will provide up to date information on the views and current status of businesses of all sizes across various sectors and industries.
The Regional Learning Partnership for South West Wales has joined forces with the South Wales Chamber of Commerce on its quarterly Employer Survey.
Currently targeting around 3,000 businesses across all of South Wales, the RLP is looking to use the information gathered from those businesses within the South West Wales region to help inform the Regional Learning & Skills Observatory (RLSO).
Data will be displayed online within the RLSO using interactive maps and tables, and will provide users with current quarterly information that will allow comparison and trend data to be analysed.
The RLP have agreed to work with the South Wales Chamber on the survey initially for a year, which will provide the RLSO with four quarters worth of data.
Partners within the RLP are being encouraged to forward the link to the online survey to all their employer and business contacts, in order to gain as wide a response as is possible. This in turn will provide the first survey results which will allow comparison across all five counties within South West Wales, to help inform Labour Market Intelligence, as well as policy and planning.
